Yesterday, we highlighted the importance of Community in the life of a follower of Jesus Christ. We KNOW that living in authentic, Biblical community with other diverse but like minded believers is essential to our own spiritual growth and in fulfilling the Great Commission task given to us by our Lord.

Yet, as addressed in Pastor Kyles sermon yesterday…living in authentic, biblical community doesn’t just happen. No, we must be intentional.

We must live on purpose.

Let us ask you…how are you responding to the Word that was preached yesterday? Are you living on purpose today, intentionally going out of your way to promote Biblical community? We pray so.

Today, make that phone call you’ve been putting off. Invite those friends to dinner later this week. Send a text or Facebook message to that person God has placed on your heart simply to encourage them in their faith or to let them know they’re on your mind today.

Do whatever it takes. Be intentional. They  need it. You need it. Jesus demands it.
